KSCC was founded in 2024 with its mission to combat dementia in seniors. While playing chess is not only fun, it has proven benefits on cognition and brain function; in turn, combating the effects of dementia. 

Our Mission

At Knightly Seniors Chess Care, we are dedicated to improving the lives of elderly people in our community diagnosed with dementia and other neurological challenges through the power of chess. Our mission is to provide specialized chess training programs, using passionate volunteers, that stimulate cognitive thinking and foster emotional well-being.
